Who We Are
We are academics with commercial savvy. Innovative problem-solvers driven by curiosity and compassion. Strategic communicators. Skilled project managers.
We go beyond the page to ensure clients receive comprehensive patient insights and compelling action plans, and execute programmes with excellence.
We publish in peer-review journals, present original research at industry and scientific conferences. We speak with FDA and EMA – and anticipate what regulators expect to see.
Most importantly, we are champions of the patient perspective.

The Sprout Story
Women-founded/owned
Christina Jackson and Lina Eliasson established Sprout in 2017 to elevate the role of behaviour science in pharma-sponsored programmes that support patients living with chronic health conditions. Their vision was for industry-seasoned psychologists to lead all projects, applying academic skills and evidence-based theories to understand the patient experience, improve engagement and change unhealthy behaviours. It was bold thinking at the time, and now regarded as a pioneering move within the industry.
In 2019, Sarah Clifford joined and launched Sprout’s Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) division. It’s a synergistic service line that expands Sprout’s unique ability to engage patients so their voices guide every stage of drug development, from pre-Phase 1 through commercialisation and the real world.
Today, Sprout has a robust scientific team of health psychology and medical sociology PhDs and project managers serving pharma and biotech clients worldwide across disease states.
